Kevin Harris Chief Financial Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer
Harris joined the Company as its CFO on January 1, 2009. Prior to working for CyberDefender, Harris served as the Chief Operating Officer for Statmon Technologies Corp. (OTCBB: STCA). Additionally, Harris has worked as the Senior Vice President of Finance for RKO Pictures, LLC, Finance and Controller for Pop.com, LLC, and Director - Corporate Financial Planning at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc. Harris began his career with KPMG and is a licensed CPA in the State of California.
Igor Barash Chief Operating Officer
Barash co-founded CyberDefender Corporation with Chief Executive Officer Gary Guseinov in 2003. An expert in Internet hosting technologies and infrastructure implementation and design, Barash developed and grew the Internet hosting infrastructure for HostPro Internet Services, one of the largest Internet Service Providers in the world. He was pivotal in the firm's acquisition by Micron and after managing the integration of the two firms, he provided due diligence of three subsequent acquisitions.
Brian Yoder VP of Engineering and Threat Research
Yoder has been building software products for over 30 years. As an early member of the Peter Norton Computing/Symantec (SYMC) team, he initiated the original Norton AntiVirus product and was on the teams that developed all of the classic Norton applications such as Norton Utilities, Norton Commander, and Norton Desktop. At Earthlink (ELNK), Yoder was a technical architect who helped take the company from a regional player to the second-largest ISP in the country, designing many of its key carrier class services and client technologies. His many years of experience building mass-market commercial applications spans many technology platforms including Windows, Unix, Macintosh, and mobile devices promises to be instrumental in extending our customer reach into these areas.
Gary Lloyd SVP Business and Legal Affairs
Lloyd joins CyberDefender with more than thirty years of experience practicing, including substantial public company experience as the General Counsel of both New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq listed companies. Most recently Lloyd served as General Counsel for Advanced Marketing Services, Inc. (subsequently acquired by Baker & Taylor, Inc.). Prior to that, he served as General Counsel for Informix Corporation (subsequently acquired by IBM ). Previous roles include the private practice of law in San Francisco specializing in public company legal compliance matters and an Assistant Director in the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.
Kamran Izadpanah SVP of Technology
Izadpanah comes to CyberDefender with over 20 years of experience in product development and technical innovation. Most recently serving as the Vice President of Software Development at ReachLocal Inc. (Nasdaq:RLOC), he was responsible for improving the release and tracking systems, creating simultaneous releases in multiple international sites, the company's compliance with Payment Card Industry guidelines, assisting in the filing of applications for patents, and other matters. Other executive roles include Vice President of Technology and Architecture at the Los Angeles Times' Interactive Division, Executive Director of Software Development at Edmunds.com, Inc. and Vice President of Engineering and Product Development with J2 Global Communications. Izadpanah earned his MBA degree from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Washington University.
Deepa Miglani SVP of Marketing
Miglani comes to CyberDefender with more than 12 years of direct response industry experience and brings expertise in customer acquisition and retention strategies. Most recently serving as Director of Acquisition Marketing at eHarmony, she was responsible for optimizing the television and online marketing budgets and expanding the digital advertising footprint of the business in the display, email and affiliate marketing channels. During her tenure at eHarmony, Miglani successfully revamped the company's email marketing campaigns, resulting in improved brand perception and re-structured the affiliate marketing processes, improving ROI and positively impacting the company's revenues. Before joining eHarmony, executive roles included Director of Direct-to-Consumer Marketing at Rosetta Stone (NYSE: RST) and Director of Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Manager with Startec Global Communications. Miglani earned her Master's Degree in Literature and Communications from Delhi University in India.
